Cancellation Policy

At Redlands Massage Therapy, we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. All of us understand that life happens like that at times. It is important to remember that scheduling an appointment with us is like buying tickets to an event. If you miss the event, it doesn’t matter why you missed it, or even if it was your first time, you can’t turn in your tickets for a refund. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, and out of consideration for our therapist’s time, we have adopted the following policies:

  • In most cases, a 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to avail themselves of our services. For example, if you are scheduled for a 10:00 am appointment on a Thursday, and call or text to cancel Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 pm, it is very unlikely that we will be able to fill that appointment.
  • If you are unable to give us the minimum 24-hours advance notice, and we are unable to fill your time slot, you will be charged the full amount of what would have been your treatment fee. This fee will be waived in the event of a serious or contagious illness or an emergency.
  • On the other hand, if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice and we are able to fill “your” time slot with another client, you will not be charged for that missed appointment.
  • Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment and does not contact us, will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment and future appointments may not be made until payment is made.
